Gypsy Vanner filly

Reg'n #: GV00384F1

Ah...sweet, sweet Daisy!

Gypsy vanner filly
Daisy on her 2nd birthday. She will mature at approximately 15.1hh

Daisy was imported in utero, is out of our own Teasel and is a grand daughter of the famous Teddy Mare. Her sire is a wonderful little horse from Ireland and is Connors bred.

I have bred horses for a great many years but every now and then, a foal is born that captivates me, beyond all reason, from the moment he or she opens their eyes. Daisy was one such baby. I was supposed to sell her. I had promised my long-suffering hubby that I would. But here she remains. Did I mention what a wonderful hubby I have? He hasn't grumbled even once that Daisy is still here!

...and at a month old.

And as for this next sequence of pictures....I freely admit that I am easily amused, but bear in mind that up until today, Daisy's favorite gait has been the slo-o-ow mooch.
Today she and Tansy went in to a new field and Daisy was utterly delighted!

"Boing! Boing! Who needs
a pogo stick? Not me!"

... 2' in the air!

"Does this make my
 butt look big?"

"Weeeeee.....I can fly!"

"Wanna play with me
Aunty Tansy? Huh?"

Back down to earth.....

I have some friends who keep joking with me that Daisy needs to pack her little red suitcase and go live with them. So one day I decided to take some pictures!

Daisy's Connors bred sire.
He may be muddy but we can see where she got her sweet face and lovely, tippy ears. Hmmm...well, at least we can see the ears!

I adore all my horses but Daisy is truly my Heart Horse.
I feel as though I've waited all my life for her to arrive. Silly huh?
