As a youngster in England she was a sideliner put to a wagon that went to Appleby Fair and back.
Once over here in the States she was started under saddle and has competed in dressage and attended parades and Expos.
In harness she is beginning her driving career and showing enormous potential to become very competitive in the show ring with big movement and a great deal of "look at me", stallion-like presence. That she is a sweet, affectionate soul is merely the icing on the cake! There's is nothing this mare hasn't done when asked (including having a superb foal!). Affectionate and kind, she is a pure joy to be around and one of the nicest horses to work with that I have ever experienced.

If she were a person, Magpie wouldn't be a couch potato, content to sit on the sofa eating popcorn. She'd be that friend who knocks on the door at 6.00 o'clock in the morning with two mugs of coffee in her hand wanting to know if you wanted to go hike in the mountains with her. She wants to be out and about, having fun and meeting people. She's quite the socialite!
