Gypsy vanner stallion

Lenny's Horse
...a "once in a lifetime" stallion.
Will be the sire of Tansy's '08 foal and also of an (ET) '09 foal.

6 years ago I was shown some photos of a stallion at Appleby Fair in England. He was the talk of the fair and considered, by most, to be the best stallion in the country. Everywhere he went, the gypsy men surrounded him three and four deep, trying to get a closer look. They were mesmerized.

Then, a few months later another friend sent me a video he had taken of this same stallion and, as lovely as he was in his photos, it was nothing to his appeal in movement. I was utterly in love! Never did I imagine, living here in America, that I would one day have the chance to breed to him. When I heard that a friend had brought him over, I was thrilled at the possibilities!

What happens when you breed one of the finest stallions of all time to a mare by another stallion still remembered in hushed tones for his extreme quality?

Silky Boy!!
Silky is by Lenny's Horse (above) and out of a mare by the legendary Old Kent Horse. Tansy will be bred to this gorgeous fellow later this year for a second ET foal.

This boy is so close to my ideal he gives me goosebumps!

There is a very good chance he will be Daisy's first husband too.
